What’s Cooking in Soho?

Some delicious discoveries from our estate agent Soho:

Rosa’s Thai Café, which currently enjoys a solid 4-star rating on Time Out and TripAdvisor, will serve only vegetarian dishes to its customers for three months starting January 15 next year. From meat-free versions of Thai green curry and Pad Thai, to Panang tofu and lab mushrooms, vegetarians have a full spread to queue up for.

If you want to eat and buy Korean, Mee Market just opened its doors at Archer St. The two-level market has stations serving traditional stews, hotpots and noodle soups, and a fresh vegetable market, gourmet frozen foods and dry foods. The other floor has a small dining hall serving Korean burdock root tea and a retail space selling accessories and homeware.
Crazy about pasta? Ganton Street is now home to Pastaio, a 70-seat restaurant that joins Stevie Parle’s famous stable comprising Palantino and Dock Kitchen. The name translates to ‘made by hand’, and you can look forward to quality, affordable fare that includes casarecce with pesto, potato and green beans; grouse, rabbit and pork agnoili; and crab courgette and yellow tomato fusilli.

A second brand of The Good Egg has opened in Kingly Court. This one is bigger than its Stoke Newington cousin, so you can get your fill of Jewish-inspired menu, including cocktails and baked confectionaries.
