What does POA price mean when you see property advertising?

This information used to be provided by the council. However, many councils will not provide this information because they want buyers to provide a full financial statement before they can give them a final offer. POA is usually only where there is the confidence that the price allocated will be accepted. This means that if someone has been negotiating with the seller for two months prior, and they are confident of signing on an agreed figure, then it would have POA included on their advert. It also lets buyers know upfront what amount might be negotiated.
