The Tube

The trains are continually stopping at the stations at a few minutes interval. Armed with a Tube map you will get used to the system in no time at all.
The Overground
The Overground is a relatively new transport system created by the TfL (Transport for London). Built only in 2007, the Overground is the surface-level equivalent of the Tube. The overground’s main purpose is to complete those routes that were left uncovered by the Tube. Between the Tube and the Overground, there is virtually nowhere in London you can’t go.
London Bus
The London Buses are another extremely reliable way to get around in the city. Buses operate 24 hours a day, and once you have an Oyster card or a Contactless card, you are pretty much sorted to get where ever you need to in London. With a fixed fare of £1.50 for a single journey, regardless of distance, bus travel is one of the cheapest ways for getting around London. The only drawback of riding the bus is that at certain times you could get stuck in traffic.
Taxi
When in London take a London Taxi. The black cabs are one of the most comfortable and reliable ways to get around the city. Even if you’re not sure of the address of your destination, the chances are that your cabbie will know the way. Taxis accept cash or credit cards, and you pay by the meter at the end of your trip.
