New Restaurants In Covent Garden

As one of the few estate agents Covent Garden, naturally we would know some of the best places to eat or drink in the area.  We’re also lucky enough to find out about new restaurants in Covent Garden, here are a few joining our already fabulous selection of eateries.

New Restaurants In Covent Garden include the famous French gourmet tea company Mariage Frères coming this September. It will feature the world’s longest tea wall, housed within a Georgian house, and include a tea shop, tea museum, a café and dining rooms.

Which one of the nearly 1,000 varieties of teas from 36 countries will be ‘your cup of tea?”.

Visit their new venture in King Street to find out in the coming months, and enjoy a visual treat of teas on display from floor to ceiling. The all-day café, which will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner is expected to have a delectable tea-inspired menu. Whether you’re a resident or looking for properties to rent in Covent Garden, make some time for the tea museum, which will display unique artefacts centred around tea, from all over the world.

In an age of female empowerment and the #metoo movement, here is another story we can get behind: a bar where 60% of listed wines will be produced by female winemakers. Lady of the Grapes will open on Maiden Lane next month. The 29-cover site will feature a wine bar, restaurant and shop. You have the chance to buy one or more of the 80 wines, and sample 15 by the glass. All the wines are natural, organic or biodynamic. Victor Garvey, the chef-restaurateur behind Bravas Tapas, will design the food menu. If you like your food and your wine to be organic, Lady of the Grapes is a must-try.

As an estate agent in Covent Garden we can highly recommend Maxwell’s Bar & Grill on King St who will whip up an epic MAGA (Make America Great Again) burger between July 9-15 to mark the visit of United States President Donald Trump to the U.K next month. Patrons who order the burger can wash it down with the Stormy Trumptini cocktail, whose orange colour is supposedly an ode to Trump’s orange complexion!

La Gelatiera on New Row has been rated as a top place for ice cream in London by Harper’s Bazaar. Covent Garden residents can cool off with an exciting choice of flavours – that change regularly – and try out vegan options at the artisan gelato shop.
