Exciting New Restaurants In London

Central London is the most happening place when it comes to restaurants. Our estate agent London, Greater London Properties recommends these fascinating new eateries that have just opened up in the capital.

Helix and Iris: Most people are no strangers to Central London’s most awe-inspiring skyscraper, the Gherkin. Instantly recognizable and replete with some amazing dining places, this massive tower is one of the reasons why many people want to look at properties to rent in Central London! Now adding to the skyscraper’s popularity is the new Helix and Iris bar and restaurant that opened on 13th July. The name is an inspiration of Gherkin’s “helix” structure while ‘iris’ refers to the shape seen from the top. Helix offers lunch and dinner at the 39th floor while Iris is the bar at 40th

With the 360-degree view of the stunning cityscape available at Helix and Iris, guests may not feel the need for impressive interiors! Yet, the silver and black interiors enhance the charm and give a sophisticated vibe. As for the eats, you can go in for a tasting menu or opt for à la carte. Sourcing the best of British Isles ingredients, salmon, Welsh lamb, and Dorset crab are some of the must-haves.

Native: Native is another new opening in Central London that focuses on foraged produce. Located very close to the Borough market, Native features lots of natural light, exposed bricks, rich greenery and a welcoming look. On offer is the delectable tasting menu, interesting snacks like grain husks and radish tops, fermented truffle potato among others. Seasonal vegetables, sustainable seafood and meat are what makes Native truly amazing. Wrap it all up with Meadowsweet custard in tandem with coriander honeycomb and Yorkshire rhubarb, or bone marrow and white chocolate caramel.

Cora Pearl: When you are in Covent Garden, Cora Pearl has to take the cake. Having opened its doors on July 10th, the restaurant has a historic feel to it replete with vintage mirrors, ambient lights, wooden furnishings and much more. Dig in deep into the smoked eel or lap up comforting fish stew served with croutons.
