Today Megan from Greater London Properties was speaking with Kate Allden, who co founded Kj’s Laundry (women clothing brand) with her friend Jane Ellis.
The brand launched 14 years ago in 2006 at 74 Marylebone Lane.
The idea was to bring a more relaxed boutique vibe to the London market. They wanted to source low key and under the radar brands. They have over 30 different clothing brands in their store and have a small collection of their very own brand KJ’s laundry which they hope to expand in the future.
KJ’s laundry is a destination store for real women. Focusing on niche, under the radar brands. It has become known for introducing new and exciting labels in the UK.
-Housed in a laidback and low key environment, shoppers can experience an honest and friendly customer service.
-Creating a beautifully edited collection of contemporary and independent labels since 2006.
Their store sells clothes, accessories, bags, shoes and candles.
They have a sale collection of up to 40% off.
Co founder Jane Ellis, has a friend who is a stylist and she works with celebrity Elle MacPherson who often wears their clothes. Actress Dakota Johnson is seen wearing KJ’s Laundry ‘Xirena’ shirt.
Tune in to find out how they have been through lockdown and what they are anticipating for the future.
