Established since 2003, Greater London Properties (glp) are proud to be Central London’s Largest Independent Estate Agency, specialising in Residential Sales, Lettings and Property Management. We are uniquely Soho’s only estate agency and have a second shop positioned in the heart of Bloomsbury meaning we can easily assist all our clients from these central locations.
We feel extremely fortunate to work with such a brilliant team of people from all different backgrounds and areas of expertise. For more information and individual contact details please read more below.
Rob Hill, MBA, Director, firstname.lastname@example.org
I left Liverpool University with an MBA in Urban Regeneration and a degree in Geography and started working with a North London Estate Agency. After a short time I recognised that due to consistent staff changes and the size of the geographical area covered, much of the advice given to both Landlords and Tenants was too generalised to be of any real assistance.
I felt that the ideal Agency should have an unrivalled knowledge of its area, not just street by street but property by property, thus the strategy of GLP was conceived. In 2003 I rented a Soho office and began trading.
In 2008 the company moved to Broadwick St and Greater London Properties became the only property window in Soho, something I am extremely proud of.
It’s a pleasure to be so involved in the local community, it’s an incredibly unique area and the changes taking place will only add to this. We have a fantastic team of people who know the west end intricately, are all experts in their roles and are a pleasure to work with, I couldn’t be happier. My spare time is taken up by my ever growing family, Everton and the NFL.
Kate Hill, BA(hons), Marketing Manager, email@example.com
After graduating from Liverpool, I was accepted into the Black and Decker Graduate Programme where I was trained as a power tool demonstrator developing my selling skills and perfecting my wood work! After 3 years I moved to London taking a marketing job and started working for GLP at the beginning of 2012.
My role is to ensure our properties and the company gain as much exposure as possible, through talking with journalists, attending networking events, social networking and online advertising.
It’s been an extraordinary few years and we are proud to have become one of the largest independent estate agencies in the area. There is a strong market for bespoke and personal service an agency like ours can offer clients both large and small, and its exciting times ahead.
My spare time is spent running around Dulwich and trying all the delicious new restaurants in the West End!
Sarah Smith, BA(hons), Director of Residential Lettings, Soho, firstname.lastname@example.org
Starting my career in the banking sector in the City, I decided to take the plunge and switch to Residential Lettings in 2010, one of the best decisions I have made. I have worked in both the City and West End markets giving me an in-depth knowledge of the Central London property market.
After working as a Lettings Negotiator for 4 years, I was offered the role in the referencing department here at Greater London Properties which I loved. In 2015 I was promoted to Branch Manager of Soho handling the lettings department and in 2018 I was promoted to Director of Residential Lettings giving me the opportunity to oversee the lettings department in both of our offices. I work with an incredible group of people and thoroughly enjoy the variety and pace the property industry and this area of London demands.
My weekends are taken up with festivals and my gorgeous King Charles Spaniel Winston.
Oskar Riessbacher, Sales Manager Consultant, email@example.com
I realized my passion for property early whilst working for my father’s estate agency during my school years. After graduating, I went to work for one of Austria’s leading banks and then Europe’s leading property companies where I gained a higher understanding of the industry.
After finishing my MSc in Business Administration I joined Greater London Properties as a lettings negotiator and immediately fell in love with London and the West End.
I am currently studying again in Real Estate at Reading University in order to gain more qualifications and a more in-depth knowledge of all aspects of property. I am a keen cyclist and have recently returned from a trip starting at Dunkirk and ending up at the Hook of Holland, quite an adventure.
Drew Hogan Branch Manager, Bloomsbury, firstname.lastname@example.org
I have worked in the property industry for nearly 10 years specialising in residential lettings & sales. Having previously worked for a property development company I have developed an expert knowledge of the central London property market working both client side and agency. I am also ARLA qualified allowing me to offer professional guidance on the law and management of residential property.
Being local to the area, I know the West End well and take full advantage of the fantastic shopping, restaurants and culture on offer.
Aisling Keating, Office Manager, email@example.com
I am originally from Galway in Ireland where I worked in the summer holidays for my Fathers property company. After taking time out to study in London, I decided my passion lay in property and started work with City West Home Residential as a Relationship Manager. I joined GLP at the beginning of 2015 and worked as a Property Consultant for two years so I know all of Soho’s secret hotspots. Having recently returned from a year out, traveling the world I have now taken on the role as office manager in Soho.
In my spare time I love going to the theatre and exploring everything London has to offer.
Marc Hughes, Head of Property Management, firstname.lastname@example.org
I have over 7 years’ experience in the property management and construction industry. I began my career as a crane operator in Central London working on huge developments such as Great Ormond St and St Georges Wharf in Vauxhall whilst still having time to play semi-professional football.
After refurbishing my own house I realised my passion for property and began work at Apollo group then moved to Acorn as a property manager and from there Dinglis Estates, a development company based in north London.
I am ARLA qualified and now head up the Property Management team here at GLP working with private landlords, Local Estates and oversee all aspects of the property management. Every day is different and offers new challenges but I have seen the department and workload double in the last 2 years and look forward to the exciting times ahead.
Joe Kennedy, Property Manager, email@example.com
I always dreamt of working in Central London when I was young and have an affinity to the architecture of buildings. I find great pleasure in ensuring a property achieves and maintains its highest potential before, during and after tenancies. The buildings in Soho, Fitzrovia & Bloomsbury are often older and with that comes a certain quaintness that I admire. – The pubs are great too.
Repertoire is key with me. After all, I’m managing your property – there must be a strong bond between us.
My top three London spots? Beigel Bake on Brick Lane, The Montague Arms in Peckham and Sister Ray Records just round the corner from our Soho office.
Susan Bennett, Financial Controller, firstname.lastname@example.org
I am currently in my final year of studying for an AAT qualification and am well on my way to becoming chartered. I’m delighted to be working in the finance department at GLP – I handle all aspects of rent collection, invoicing, credit control and general booking keeping and find the role both exciting and challenging. I’m looking forward to the growth of the company with such a brilliant team of people.
When not working or studying, my spare time is spent with my two little girls whom tends to keep me busy with their nonstop energy.
Maureen Allouche, Senior Property Consultant, email@example.com
During my university years I quickly had the opportunity to travel and graduated in Corporate Communications in York University of Toronto in Canada. After returning to Paris (where I’m from) and having a short career in Events, I decided to discover another country and arrived in London in 2011 where I completed a Masters Degree in International Advertising.
After graduating I worked in hospitality for a couple of years and finally joined an estate agency in West London in 2013. This is where it all started for me. The property industry had always appealed to me and I knew helping people finding their homes would be an exciting challenge.
Greater London Properties has been a great step for me and working in Central London is fascinating for both its unique architecture and its vibrant cultural diversity.
It is no surprise I am also a keen traveller and an accomplished foodie!
Elisa Zanzi, Office Manager, Bloomsbury, firstname.lastname@example.org
I am originally from Italy and have lived for 6 years in Tunisia and then decided to move to London in 2012. Living in different countries has been empowering and given me the opportunity to learn different languages and discover new cultures. I’ve previously worked in recruitment and accounting but I quickly realised that the property industry is what really interests me.
I’ve recently joined GLP as Office Manager of Bloomsbury and love it. It is a lovely environment and amazing culture, I couldn’t be happier.
Outside of work I love sport and travelling.
Jahzel Parkinson-Actil, Property Manager, email@example.com
After studying Architecture at University of East London I qualified with a BSC degree and left with a high interest in both residential and commercial property.
Alongside my studies I was working in hospitality which continued after I had graduated. I oversaw the managing of executive lounges and boxes across the hospitality industry for clients such as Chelsea FC, Tottenham FC, West Ham FC and at locations such as The O2 Area, Twickenham Stadium and Cheltenham Racecourse.
My interest in property never left me and I made the decision to make a career change and further my knowledge in what it takes to maintain a property physically and legally as one day, I plan to become a Landlord myself! I really enjoy getting to know our landlords and tenants and building long lasting relationships with them.
Dominic Wade, Property Consultant, firstname.lastname@example.org
I graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2018 with a BA honours degree in Property Development and Development and Management. After graduating, I travelled to Ibiza to work at one of the top beach clubs in the world, O Beach Ibiza (formerly Ocean Beach Ibiza) as Head Host. It was long hours and hard work but I enjoyed meeting new people and even got to host some celebrities! As the season came to an end, I decided to move back to London to pursue my career in property and make use of my degree. Working at GLP has helped me to develop my skills and knowledge of the complex and fast past London property market. Outside of work, I am a techno DJ and spend most of my time listening to, researching and mixing music.
Marcus Williams, B.Sc, Property Consultant email@example.com
A recent arrival to London, I began my metropolitan life working in the charity sector to rehouse the homeless. I have now taken a step towards re-housing people in a different way, starting my career in property midway through 2018 which has now blossomed to the point where I find myself working at Greater London Properties.
The team and the company are as welcoming as can be with the sole aim of doing the best that they can for all who deal with them. I’m very happy to be a part of a group who are re-shaping the image of what an estate agency should be!
Out of work, you will find me exploring whenever the time can be found. My favourite global destinations so far are the Mitre Pub in Greenwhich, the Black Horse in Exeter and the Camden Eye.
Tyrone van der Valk, Property Consultant, firstname.lastname@example.org
I moved to the capital with a background in sport and personal training and my competitive nature has carried over to the Real Estate industry. My career thus far has allowed me to work and gain exposure to various parts of London, but I found Soho to be the most exciting. Architecture all the way from the Roman to the Victorian periods and more is still standing around the City. Central London has so much to offer that it is almost impossible to get bored, which is what has kept me here for the past 13 years. Being the only South African in the team, it should be easy to tell when you are speaking with me on the phone!
Ellivia Kennedy, Property Consultant, email@example.com
I was educated at Corona Art Theatre School where I specialised in ballet and toured in the show ‘High School Musical’ as well as being involved in many other theatre productions such as Annie and Bugsy Malone. After my studies, I travelled around America with Joshua Tree being my favourite destination where I was camping out in the desert.
I have previously been working in the lettings property industry in Surrey however I wanted to come into the heart of busy Soho for the hustle and bustle of the city which Greater London Properties has given me the opportunity to do.
In my spare time I enjoy going to West End musicals and can highly recommend Billy Elliott! My next holiday destination I would love to travel to is China as I love to see different traditions and cultures.
