Best Brunch Spots in London

Who doesn’t love a good brunch? Our London estate agent certainly does. We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite brunch spots in London so that whether it’s time out with friends, a family celebration, or you just want to do brunch, you always have a ready reference.

Kudu

We kick off the list with Kudu, a South African inspired restaurant in Peckham. The menu offers such delights as sausage stuffed brioche rolls, home-cured bacon, sourdough waffles, brioche French toast and even fried eggs. Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday between 11.00am and 2.30pm. You can spend a good part of your weekend indulging in the delectable fare and deciding if candied kumquats do in fact go well with chocolate and hazelnuts. Kudu is located at 119 Queen’s Road, SE15 2EZ.

The Skinny Kitchen

You know what you’re getting into with a name like The Skinny Kitchen. But The Skinny Kitchen might just be the answer to many prayers. Located on Longfield Avenue in London, The Skinny Kitchen has a delicious brunch menu based on the clean eating concept. The food is organic, and all calories are listed for the weight conscious. There’s near to no added sugar, whole foods, and loads of nutrition in what is served up. You can try some interesting diets or just go with pancakes, eggs and bacon, no matter what you eat you can feel less guilty knowing that only the healthiest ingredients have been used.

Andina

Andina in Shoreditch is another great place where health meets deliciousness. With super-foods like chia seeds and quinoa used in the preparations, you can expect grain-free and dairy-free brunch dishes without compromising on taste. The fruit is topped with whipped coconut cream, and the pancakes boast sweet potato instead of flour. You can also choose poached eggs, bacon and a healthy smoothie for a wholesome meal. At £35 for two, you can have your fill and keep your energy up all day.

Babette

Babette in Nunhead is a pub converted to a restaurant. The old-world charm of the ambience will be the first thing that grips you even before you browse the brunch menu. Once you are seated comfortably within the brick-walled structure, you can choose from home-cured bacon, homemade sausage, homemade baked beans, and so much more. Option with a healthy dose of greens is also available as is French fries with herb salt. Go with your mood and choose a dish that has you salivating just thinking about it.

The Hilton

The Hilton in Bankside, London offers a four-course weekend brunch menu in an interior we can only describe as swanky. The restaurant serves traditional English breakfast items as well as dishes like sushi and charcuterie meats and cheeses. There is also an extensive main course and dessert menu, and you can have any of these for brunch. The food is made to order, and you can enjoy it fresh from the kitchen as soon as it is prepared. We believe that the Hilton is one of the more stylish bunch spots in London.

HotBox London

HotBox in Spitalfields is where you go for an indulgent brunch. The truffle chicken waffle with maple syrup and the eight-hour smoked pork ribs are a must-have when you come to HotBox. The best part is probably the Bloody Marys that come in five varieties and served in a nice large tankard. The portion size ensures that you won’t need another meal for a long time and if you choose the £80 for two option you can enjoy unlimited cocktails all afternoon long. And while you’re at HotBox try the smoky baked eggs, you won’t regret it.

Caravan

Caravan is a group of restaurants all over London including King’s Cross, Exmouth Market and Bankside. Stretching from 9am to 4pm on the weekends, the brunch at Caravan gives you a wide variety of options. You can have the millennial favourite avocado on toast, or you could choose a kimchi and pork belly pancake, the choice is yours. An Expresso Martini made with in-house roasted coffee beans is a must-try and goes well with brunch.
