Extending over 440sq ft, the apartment benefits from high ceilings and large sash-windows, which bathe the property in natural light. The flat is ideal for owner-occupiers looking for tranquillity in this exquisite location as well as for buy to let investors looking for an income generating asset or parents looking to purchase a property whilst their children are at one of the many universities in the area,
Location and Transport
Sandwich Street lies within the distinctly affluent and historical area of Bloomsbury. The most prestigious shopping streets, world renowned restaurants, hotels and cultural landmarks are within a short stroll. There is easy access to the amenities of the Brunswick Centre (including a large Waitrose), UCL and to many other universities. London’s International Airports are easily accessible through the Underground and Mainline Station network and the Eurostar link at St Pancras further enhances the area’s connectivity, reinforcing its stature as a vibrant and bustling slice of London life.
What the owner says:
I loved my two decades living in this flat, before we moved away and started renting it out. The location is fabulous, close to many interesting green spaces (St George’s Gardens were a favourite) and fun shopping / eating streets like Doughty St. The neighbourhood has improved massively in the last ten years, as well, as the new King’s Cross has emerged as one of the most vibrant and architecturally interesting areas in London. Sandwich Street and the block itself are quiet and civilised and well run, and I have happy memories of watching the New Year fireworks from the roof terrace. Fantastic to be able to walk anywhere in central London easily, while living in a place that can feel quite village-like.
